About Coface

A Worldwide Leader

AROUND THE WORLD, COFACE PROTECTS COMPANIES AGAINST UNPAID INVOICES

Through this protection, the Group contributes to the smooth operation and long-term development of companies of all sizes while fostering a climate of trust among economic players in the countries where these companies and their customers are based.

OUR KNOW-HOW IS BASED ON FOUR PILLARS:

1

Commercial risk expertise

Present in more than 200 countries, Coface is a global leader in credit insurance and an acknowledged expert in commercial risks. Every day, our experts secure the sales and business activities of 50,000 companies.

Protection against unpaid invoices

80% of companies have to deal with unpaid invoices, which are responsible for one-fourth of bankruptcy filings. One of the main missions of Coface’s experts is to protect companies against unpaid invoices, which can jeopardize the business and threaten the existence of these companies.

3

Securing sales worldwide

Increasingly international, Coface is structuring its organization to provide ever closer local support for companies and their worldwide development. Coface’s 340 underwriters make 10,000 guarantee decisions every day and in the four corners of the world.

4

Strong financial position

Rated AA- by Fitch, A2 by Moody's and A by AM Best with a stable outlook in all three cases, Coface has the financial strength necessary to carry out its activity as an insurer. These positive assessments by the three ratings agencies are based on three key drivers: Coface’s strong competitive position in the global credit insurance market; a robust Group solvency and proactive management of Coface’s risks (founded on efficient procedures and tools). Listed on the Euronext Market in 2014, Natixis (bank financing, management and services arm of BPCE, the second French banking group) is a majority shareholder.
